Showing intense ball drive, Kohl has been started in both Dock Diving and K9 Nose Work. He was tested as a potential drug / bomb dog, but was rejected due to his lack of pedigree. He has also been started in Obedience training and will do anything for his ball. Kohl would be a wonderful candidate for a Flyball, dock diving or Agility home. He set a personal best in Dock Diving is 17'11" at his second event, with no serious training!

BLU

Blu was sent to California for training and evaluation. While I would love to keep Blu, I can only keep so many dogs so we are on a mission to place Blu in a appropriate home. He has been adopted out 5 times in his previous home, so we will make sure that does not happen. He has some amazing qualities. He has work ethic through the roof. He will do anything for you and anything for a toy. Blu has been started in flyball( I would be shocked if Blu was not a sub 4 dog), he is also a super accomplished dock jumper. He has improved every event he has attended with a PB of 21'9 in Big Air and 5'8 in Super Vertical. He will jump for anything and anyone. He excels at everything he does. Blu has been started in frisbee as well.
He is neutered, up to date on everything, stable with children, dogs, farm animals, not an escape artist, housebroken, crate trained and has an off switch in the house unless toys are involved.
Blu will need a strong handler with the understanding of bully breeds. He is incredibly staffy -soft and border collie gooey, but DRIVE is his middle name. He has some negative qualities. I run my dogs 5-10 miles a day and for him that just barely mellows him out. I have swam him, jumped him, ran him and done flyball work with him and he still keeps going. For me that is ok, but for an average home, that will not work. He has a horrible staffy screech that he lets out when he is in drive as well as a bark that will continue if he is in his crate and stimulated.
Blu will only go to an approved home. He will continue his training here and stay as long as necessary to find him a proper home. He is not for everyone but will make someone an amazing sport companion. He also will not be adopted out to anyone beyond the west coast.

Toby is ready to jump into his new life. He came into the animal shelter as a stray and has been in an intensive positive training program for a month. This is one smart cookie. He is very food motivated, learns easily and asks for more. His vocabulary grows almost daily. He does super well with dogs and ignores cats. He does well in a home environment. Don't know if he is crate trained. This boy is a love bug and a joy to train.

Piper is a great companion dog who loves fetching balls and frisbees and enjoys hikes and walks and playing with other dogs. She is easy to train and always up for learning something new. She's quick, agile and definitely a herding dog. Although she is affectionate with people she knows well, she doesn't like to be petted by strangers and is uncomfortable with children. She would do great in an adult, herding breed savvy home and according to our trainer would be a great sports dog.
